It's crazy whenever I hear the phrase "I can't dance" when our bodies run on rhythm everyday- your breathing, your heartbeat... your dance routine in the shower. Our unique rhythm and skill set is already within us and ready to be ignited. All we need is someone to guide that spark into a flame no matter however you come- young, middle-aged, experienced timid etc. Take the opportunity now to see how far you'll go. So what's the wait? Afro Vibrio
Your Rhythm has No Limits
Afro Vibrio is a modern take on afro dance that combines centuries of Afrocentric roots with mainstream styles such as hiphop, pop, Latin and EDM. Inclusion is the bare minimum and students from all backgrounds are encouraged to join in this opportunity. As a child, dance was something I have always been drawn to, but I never felt good enough to be a dancer yet alone teach others. Years later, after allowing vulnerability and expression, I have honed my skills and want to use them to spread the excitement and joy of afro dance. The beautiful thing about dance is it's never done. I'm always growing and learning. Dancing has brought so much laughter, joy and great memories throughout my life and I can't wait to share that same love with you.

Afro Dance Classes
Commitment, Passion & Good Times
ALL AGES AND LEVELS FROM 7 AND UP
To book classes, simply follow the below link
Classes are held twice a week for an hour on Tuesdays (6:30 PM to 7:30 PM) and an hour and a half on Saturdays (1:00 PM to 2:30 PM). We will begin class with a fun warm up and stretch. Class will be ended with a cool down if time permits. Refreshments are provided and also welcomed. Socks and comfortable clothing are highly encouraged.
Youth & Adult Rates (6 to 13)

For one student sign up, the base price is $47.50 per month

For a family of two or three students, you receive a discount of $10 in total ($85 for two students & $132.50 for three students)

For a family of four students, you receive a $20 discount in total for $170.00 a month

Private Sessions

Private lessons are great for boosting students’ technique and performance confidence. This allows students to have extra help with nailing certain routines or steps. For students who are already comfortable, private lessons provide one-on-one guidance and critique.

Private sessions are $15 for an hour and $5 for every additional thirty minutes.

The Face Behind the Steps
Hello! Let’s get acquainted. First, the basics. I’m Sandra, a sophomore in college who is fervent about dance and inclusion. I believe that in each person- the introverted and the extroverted- is a passion that just needs the right environment and guidance to be nurtured. I have been surrounded by dance and music all my life. Now, it’s time to share my passion and talent to help grow others’. I grew up in the Volta region of Ghana where my love for Afro dance was born and I’ve continued to immerse myself in it ever since. Afro dance brings joy to all who free themselves to it. Together, you and I will explore Afro dance, grow in ways we can't foresee and have a great time along the way!
